The Last Lecture
Good friends should know that my attention span is really short and I do meet short. I can be daydreaming about everything, anything while they are talking. That's bad! When it comes to reading, the book must be really interesting to encaptulate my fullest attention and giving me the motivation read on. Lately, recommended by my colleague, I decided to grab it off the shelve (I dislike borrowing and reading an old book - just a habit), its by Randy Pausch "The Last Lecture". Its a true story, he's a professor and he passed away 25 July 2008 from Pancreatic Cancer. This is his first and last story, something that he had put in all his heart and soul before he passed on. I'm in the midst of completing the book and I chanced upon para:
"When you're screwing up and no body says anything to you anymore, that means they've given up on you"
I so wanna share this with my 11 year old cousin. And I hope he'll learn something.
